Ruth Thompson - Willow Artist & Craft Worker,
Hexham, Northumberland, UK
Ruth Thompson trained with the coppice association in the 1990's and began by making hazel hurdles. Since then she has developed her business, working with willow using local biomass willow from Earth Balance and basket willow from Blagdon Gardens. She is a member of a local basket makers group.
